Well This is IT!

The time has come....tomorrow Sept. 01,2004 is the HOME VISIT! I have some idea of what to expect simply because the lovely women I have met on the adoption.com message boards have been kind enough to share thier stories with me.

I pray that things go well and we are able to complete the rest of our paper work in a timely manner.

I am really anxious... your prayers are greatly apperciated!
We are praying for a boy and a girl and we have enough room for 3 if that is what God's will for us is.
Well I need to get some laundry finished and go to bed... please feel free to post.

Good night!

FAVORITES!

Well the day's are few in number until our second homestudy interview!
I was putting my adoption journal into my pc when i realized that i had not posted my favorite scripture on my blog so here it is......

Ephesians 1:4-6
"Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be Holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to Adoption, as Sons ( and daughters) through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved."

I would love to know your favorite scriptures! feel free to post them!

Home Study Part 2

Well we were supposed to have the second part of our homestudy on Wednesday. Unfortunatly I have been so busy that we had to push it back to this comming wednesday. September 1, 2004, I am excited and ready to get it done and over with. Monday I have to go finish some paper work to give our Case worker from the Agency.
We have just a few things that still need to be done. I am trying to get on at a radio station as I have an education in Broadcasting and need to put it to use.

Well tomorrow is Sunday and we are going to church, Elise hates to get up and I have to fix her hair...... speaking of hair...... for those of you who are caucasian parents and are thinking of having AA or Biracial children, have some one teach you how to fix their hair!!!! Elise's hair was hard to learn about at first but now I am getting pretty good at it and she is 16 ! I had to teach her how to fix it!!!! Funny huh?

Good night and God bless you all!

Along the Journey

Today we are preparing to have the home interview portion of our Home Study. We are rearranging our bedroom tonight and will be getting the spare(child's) room tomorrow. I can't wait until we know how many and what sex the children are so we can decorate the rooms!

Not to much to say right now but will post more soon!

May God continue to Bless all who visit!

The First Part of Our Journey.

The first part of our journey began in October 2003. We attend parenting classes, got physicals, and began gathering a load of paper work.

After we notified our families, found that we have a great support system. We have had a few trials over the last year that post poned the process for about 8 months. We resumed doing our paperwork this July and Today August 18, 2004 we did the office interview part of our Homestudy.

I will be including a portion on "US" the Graham's and Links to other places I like to go as well as other blog's.

please feel free to post your comments!
