I always wanted to live in such a way that my children could be proud to say I am their mother. I want my daughters to consider me their friend when they are grown. I love my mother and she and I live well together. We work together to keep the house clean and we can do things together that we both hate to do alone. For instance, I hate going to the store alone, but my hubby drives a truck all day each day and he doesn't always feel like going to run errands with me or going to the grocery store on his day off. Now I have my mom! She and I can go run our errands with my little one ( who loves going with her "Mamuu") and being able to spend time as 3 generations.
My mom also helps with homeschooling! I loved seeing my mom's face yesterday as my 3 year old read two books to her! :) It was is so wonderful knowing that my mother and my daughter are developing the type of bond I had with my grandma! I'm really looking forward to seeing that relationship develop.
A little family that is striving to make life better, whether it is homeschool, serving others, blogging, or making changes in our daily lives. Embarking on one journey at a time according to where we feel God leading us.

We're Going Through Changes.....
So much has happened in the last 5 months! I didn't realize how long it has been since I posted. We have moved out of the house we were in and are now living on the North side of town near Turley, with my mother! LOL
It's actually not a bad little set up. Mom and Larry have their big master suite, we have the conversion room (it used to be the garage), Niki has her own room and I have my office next to Niki's bedroom.
We have plenty of room and are looking forward to Amy coming home by the end of August!
We are hoping to be able to do some traveling to San Antonio this summer but we aren't sure if we will get to. We are just keeping our fingers crossed. Hoping to get to go to a lot of baseball games this summer and do some fun stuff with NikiRhe! :D
