I have been missing Sarah and Megan for the last month. I was so used to seeing them everyday that it has been really hard coming back to work. So Ernie and I decided we'd call and ask if the girls could come spend the weekend with us and Ernie is picking them up tomorrow when he and their mom get off work!
I am so excited! Saturday we have loads of things to do... that morning we will either go swimming or go to the Kiddie Park. Saturday night is a cook out and fireworks! The girls will love it!
I am so excited about getting to spend time with them this weekend.
So back to my title.... Independence Day..
It makes me realize that with out those men and women who died for our INDEPENDENCE we would not be celebrating it at all.
For those of you who, holler about the war, be thankful that we had people willing to fight and die because with out them we would not have ANY of the RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS we have today!
Okay enough with my soap box because it could rant on forever. May God Bless you all and I pray you have a SAFE and happy Independence Day!
A little family that is striving to make life better, whether it is homeschool, serving others, blogging, or making changes in our daily lives. Embarking on one journey at a time according to where we feel God leading us.

We Did IT!!
We got moved in to our new home over the weekend. Sunday was our last day at our church! :(
It was rather sad but exciting as we know that God is going to do great things at the new place.
I have not had a chance to spend much time at home but am looking forward to getting some things unpacked tonight and this weekend.
My mom came to visit on Monday and stayed until this morning. We had a great visit and she introduced me to my soon to be step father. Larry is a good man and seems to take good care of my mom. I hope they make each other happy and that my littlest sister will let mom live her own life.
Ernie will be 31 on Sunday and we are going to join our new church that day as well. We have been praying that God will guide us in helping grow a young families ministry.
I have alot of things yet to do so I better get off here. I'll post again soon!
Love to all and God Bless!

A Rather Long Week
Boy I didn't think a week could be so long! I am so ready to go home!
Tuesday I went shopping and out to dinner with my boss and my friend Reba and we had a great time. My boss lady is great! Things in the office are hetic but I am learning how she likes things done. I did not want to come in here and try to do things differently. She has been in this business for over 20 years and I am doing things her way.
Wednesday I left work at noon to go back to Tulsa so that we could try and buy a car. Well we did! I am so excited about our new car! A 2006 Kia Optima, hunter green with beige cloth interior! I love it!
Well it is time for me to go home so I'm out of here! I'll post again next week.
