Long Lost Friends....

I got an unexpect email from an old friend from my home town. She and I grew up together and I was quite glad to hear from her. She and I had a lot to catch up on and I am excited to be able to be in contact with her again.
She and I talked for almost 3 hours the other night and it was a very honest open chat. You know how some people you can just not hear from for a long and have one conversation and it is like you have talked to each other everyday? That is what this was like. It took us about 30 minutes to catch each other up and now it is like we were never apart. It had to be a God thing. He allowed her to find me just when she needed her friend. It is GREAT!
Well Today our cat ( actually my grandpa's cat) had kittens. She had 4 this time and they are so tiny it is adorable! We already have at least 3 that are spoken for and that is a good thing. It looks like the cat will be living with us for at least another 6 to 8 weeks, until the baby's are weened.

Well I've got to go for now Holly's boyfriend had dinner with us tonight and he is sitting in my living room watching television by himself.

From Rain To Snow!

On Sunday it was raining and today Thursday it is snowing! Luckly it is not going to be a huge snow and it is not staying around too long. In fact the snow that is on the ground is already starting to melt.

I am looking forward to spring however because I am ready to do some planting. I love to plant flower gardens and have already started planning my flower beds and garden layout for this year.

So I've been working pretty steady and still have lots of money to save! I have discovered that saving money it GREAT! We are excited to be apart of our new "family" and are looking forward to adding people to our growing family.
This is a great experience and I am loving it!
The girls are growing like weeds and Megan is getting more and more mouthy!! :) She is so cute though. Sarah and Megan have been learning sign language for the last year and it is great. I have a neighbor who is hearing impared and she thinks it is cute that I have been teaching the girls ASL. (American Sign Language). There is a website I have been using to teach the girls with and it is wonderful.
Well I have to get showered and dressed... I have put that off this morning and need to get busy! I only have ONE load of laundry to do! I am so excited! I have been waiting for this day ! Thank you FLY Lady!

The Rain Is Such a Blessing!!!

I have been Praising God all weekend! The rain we have been needing since October has finally come. All weekend we have had a long slow soaking rain fall. My animals don't like it but my yard sure has needed it.
We have needed rain so badly that where we usually have a flooded yard we have very small puddles because the ground has needed the rain.
Even my rabbit has been watching the rain fall.

I have been fighting a headache all day and I am not going to church tonight because I can't seem to get rid of it... I am asking that you be praying for me. I used to get migraine headaches on a regular basis, and I don't want to have them again. Please pray that I will not be getting them any more and that this one will dissipate.

Elizabeth Jade !

She was born March 15, 2006 at 1:06pm. 7lbs. 40z. and 18 3/4 in. long!
Mother and daughter are doing GREAT!

We are very pleased to have another neice to add to the family .
Ernie and I now have a total of 6 neices and 5 nephews! and 4 of those children belong to my sister Kristina.
As soon as I get a picture of the new baby I'll post it for you all to see.

Well I've got to take my kid to school so I better get off here!

Now Their Trying to Impeach our President!

Why is it that people can't just SHUT UP AND LET THE MAN DO HIS JOB! I don't see all these people that are complaining how badly President Bush is doing trying to make it better.

You people should be ashamed of yourselves! This man is an elected official! Just because you didn't get your way doesn't give you the right to continue to attack a man who is doing what God gave him the ability to do! For pete's sake he was elected TWICE!!
If he is doing such a bad job then why were we able to help eliminate Saddam? There are those who are accusing Him of lying... Let me ask you a question.... Have you ever mislead someone? Now tell the truth.... You know that each and every one of us has in some fashion or another miss lead or lied to another person!

Our President is doing the best job He can possibly do, and just because you don't agree with the war doesn't mean it was wrong or needless... Would you have rather had him do NOTHING about 9/11?

GROW UP! This was not Caused by HUMAN error or hands! Hurricanes are WEATHER! HELLO!!!!!!!
The mayor of New Orleans is just as much to blame as any other elected official... STOP TRYING TO PASS THE BUCK AND LEAVE OUR PRESIDENT TO DO HIS JOB...

Tragedy Has Struck!

Wednesday we learned that my Mothers friend of 40 years passed away. Our families have been connected sinc my mother and he were 11 years old. His parents and my Grandparents were the best of friends and his dad was a mentor in Ministry to my Grandfather.

I've known Tim all my life and my mother loved him very much. When they were 13 they surrendered their lives to be missionaries to Mexico and were going to get married. Unfortunatly, they never married, didn't see each other for several years. When they did get back in contact with eachother God allowed them to become fast friends again and it was great that they were able to restore their friendship.
Tim had been ill but we had no idea that he would go as suddenly as he did. Mom took it pretty hard and is still quite sad about loosing him so suddenly.

Please keep us in your prayers! We are going to the service today and it will be a long afternoon for us all.
