A few changes at home.....

Barb is going to be living here now and Ernie and I are going to help her heal and recover. She has lived with so much stress that is has litterally been killing her.

As her best friend I can no longer watch and allow her to continue to be in a situation that is not condusive to healing or health.

We can help her obtain disability, allow her to rest and heal, being here she can have the freedom to just lay in bed or get up and do what she can when she can.

I am just praying that she will heal and become healthy again and possibly grow into having a close personal relationship with Christ.

Feeling Violated!

So at 6:45 this morning I went down to get in my car to go to work, only to discover that my car and been broken into! Needless to say I was furious! They busted my back passenger side window out, stole my CD case, my ice chest and a few other small things but the thing that bothered me the most was they took my Bible! My Grandmother gave me the bible and Ernie gave me the cover I had it in.

I know that if someone was desperate enough to steal my bible they apparently needed it more than I did. I mean for pete's sake it had my sunday school book in it!

So I started looking around and discovered that 3 other vehicles had been broken into as well. So after calling the police and allerting my neighbors I spent the day waiting for CSI to finger print my car and getting the window fixed. I had to go to the car wash and vacuum out all the glass from my back seat. then I discovered that there was actually glass in the fron of the car.

They went through my glove compartment and my trunk ! It really is horrible!

I paid $120 to get my window fixed today!

Then Holly called me and she is sick she called me from the hospital because she was feeling really badly and they would not see her. She spent 4 1/2 hours in the ER with an IV in her arm and they kept telling her she was not acute so she had to wait. So FINALLY she MADE them remove the IV and had her roommate take her to another town. I wish she would just come home! At least here we could make sure she is okay and help her get better and she would certainly get better medical treatment!
Well I need to make Ernie's lunch for tomorrow and get to bed so I'll end for now.

Father's Day Weekend

Yesterday I wound up going to the doctor because my left ear was hurting so very badly. I had a soar throat and was running fever. So I went in and she said my left ear was extremely infected, my allergies are what was causing the soar throat.

So today we spent the day in the house. We went to the grocery store this morning early. I went to the church to do the powerpoint for the worship service after we got home.

We've been attempting to stay cool by staying in the house.
Holly sent her daddy a message on facebook today and it was really sweet.

I am still trying to figure out what to buy him for his birthday on Thursday.

Well i'm off to bed for the night...

We've Reached A Decission!!!

After several months of prayer and waiting on God we feel led to adopt from..........CHINA!!

We are both very excited and looking forward to getting the paperwork complete and get matched with our daughter!
