Still trying to FLY

I have decided that it is taking me forever to get my stuff together!
But I am starting a new life style not a j.o.b. but a new life changing event.
I can't go into to many details as of yet but as soon as I get my new website ( not web page or blog) up and running I will post links to in on all my blogs and you can see what wonderful thing I've been blessed with tonight!

I got almost all my Morning routine done today and all but one of my before bed routine which I am probably going to ware what I have on right now in the morning.
So any way..... I have been at a great meeting and Like I said before as soon as every thing is up and running I'll clue you all in!

Friday I am going to be teaching a local {male} DJ from our favorite Christian Radio station how to change a tire. He doesn't know how and they wanted a woman to teach him how and I get the honor!

Well I need to get to bed... God Bless you!

It's Friday Night.....

Do you know where your husband is??:) Mine is sitting in the living room watching WWE SmackDown. I am sitting here listing to my 80's rock and blogging!

I have always been addicted to Power ballads and Hair bands! I Love Music in general and I have a huge and eclectic assortment of genres.
After Christian music my most favorite is 80's! I love Skid Row, Poison, Bon Jovi, Ozzy, Metallica, Areosmith, Cinderella, and many many more!

I enjoy listening to music it heals my soul... When I am in a nostalgic mood I listen to my 80's stuff... When I'm mad I listen to Heavy metal or Christian to calm me down...
I guess that this is something that has always been in my spirit because music is an integral part of my life... I have major memories tied to music.

Okay I have to take a phone call.... I'll post again later!!

Love to all!

I CAN SEE!

I am one of these people who has a tendency to wait until the very last minute or until I fear being blind until I go to the eye doctor. Most of the time it is due to lack of funds and insurance. But today I went to one of the city's most popular optometrists Dr. Robert Zoellner. I can now read the street signs and don't have to look for gigantic land marks to guide me around the city.

I got a new pair of contacts which I haven't worn in at least 5 years and some really cute glasses for the evenings and around the house. I forgot how much more I can see with contacts in my eyes! I love it! I took Elise as well and got her a much needed exam as well and we will pick up her new spectacles in about 10days. She is kind of nervous because she thinks that she won't like them once she can see what they look like. I thought they were very cute and I think they make her look more mature.

Oh! I almost forgot! We've got SNOW!!!!! I am like a kid when it comes to snow I love to see the beauty of it on an undisturbed field or lawn. And sometimes I like to play in it. I even don't mind driving in it. Most people I know try like crazy not to drive in it but I don't mind it.

Well my eyes are getting tired and need their rest before church in the morning, I have to teach.
God Bless, Keep warm and Go to Church if you can!

I don't know when it happened exactly but....

God allowed me to realize that he has a much higher purpose for my role as a wife and mother.
As you know I have been working on learning to F.L.Y. with FLYLady.net
I was reading some testimonials about this program and a lady here in Tulsa talked about FlyLady being the prime example of the Proverbs 31 Woman.

I felt some time ago that God wanted me to focus on being a Proverbs 31 Woman, and I have been struggling with learning to accomplish this very task.
Then last night as I read I realized that FLY Lady was giving me the tools to serve my God and my family just the way God intended me to!
Praise God for the gifts He gives us through other people! I am so glad that I found Fly Lady and I hope that I can pass on what I am learning to my daughter and her daughters! We will be a family full of Proverbs 31 Flybabies!!

Thanks FlyLady for answering God's call on your life!

Okay so my excitement is growing! I will have a neice born around the 20th next month and then another one ( hopefully a neice) in September!
Who said I needed to get pregnant??? :)

Well i'm off. I have been rather sickly today and need to rest.. Not cooking supper tonight so I have to call the hubby and tell him to pick something up.

A Long Week Ends

As I begin this week I am compelled to look back for a moment on the long week behind me. We had more than one sleepover, 7 puppies- that still have to go out in the middle of the very cold night- one pouty child whom I am thankful for none the less, and now a sore throat and ear infection.

Thankfully I will only have Riley this week so if I struggle with this infection I will not have to try to juggle 3 or 4 kids.
Elise has been a tremendous help with the puppies and she even got up at 5:30 one morning and fed them and took them out for their morning walk. She is even bathing her little Toby. She is really attached to that little pup.

We were really happy to get new Sunday School teachers today! God is going to do amazing things in our class I just know it.
We have been praying that God would bring a couple who wants to help us grow our class into a ministry to blended families as well as traditional families!
I will post more about our class and church on my other blog, Spending Time With God.

May God bless you week and I'll see you here later!

I Am Still Alive!

I was gone for the last week because our Internet was down but I'm back, and in High Speed!
Well in the last week a lot has happened... Elise had a "friend" that was sending me some crazy comments here on my blog... I didn't post them because I felt that was a waste of your time. Why would you want to read some teenager drama... Anyway I received some sort of apology such as it was and I still am not going to respond because I'm an adult..

Secondly... My cousin Dara and Her husband Stephen are still in Ethiopia waiting for the American Government to stop being bureaucratic jerks and allow them to bring their son whom they adopted while stationed in Ethiopia with the US Military, HOME!
It is all a bunch of bull and I would urge you to write your congressmen! I have and I will keep doing so until something is done.. I am also going to write the President and Vice President... It might not get there but I'll do it any way!

Thirdly... Riley spent her first night here with us! She is such a great kid and her mom and I are getting closer and closer as friends! It is so nice. We have a lot in common and it is nice to have a friend live so close.

I have been doing fairly well with my
FLYLady stuff! I started a Control Journal, and have been trying to keep things under control!
If you are one of those people who can't seem to get your clutter out of your house you really should check our FLYLady! She is AWESOME!
She is going to be here in Tulsa on Saturday at 1pm at the Expo Center! Ernie and Elise and I are going for our Family Fun Day (another FlyLady thing).
Also Thanks to
AVON My skin is getting so much healthier and not dry like it usually is! I have been using their Skin Cream for EXTRA dry skin! It works wonders! My hands used to be brown and look dirty all the time because my skin was so dry,, but now they look like normal hands..

Okay enough with the commercials! I can't help it! Broadcasting School ruined it for every one around when I try a product I like! !!
Okay I really need to get to bed...
God Bless you and I'll post again after another Exciting day at the Graham house!
