What is it with the people who think that God just dumped some bad situation on them? I mean don't they realize that God gave us FREE WILL? After all don't you have the freedom to live wherever you can afford to live? And don't you have the freedom to marry or not marry? God gave you life and his WORD the Bible to live by, but He also gave you the choise whether or not you want to live by it. Of course if you choose not to accept His Word as truth and reject His son then you get the other end of the stick.
I believe that God doesn't want any of us to die. He called death our enemy. He offered us a way to defeat death, he sent his son to earth for our redemption. Jesus came and died the most horrible death for US!
All you have to do is accept him and do your best to serve him and you are guarnteed ETERNAL LIFE!
Okay my sermon is over! :) I just felt that I needed to post that.
I just don't understand why people complain about God. Look at the things God HAS done for us. He knows what is right for us. He knew us before we were formed in our mothers womb. He even know the number of hairs on our heads.
Why can't we just trust God to show us the right path in life? Why do we constantly feel the need to try to do things ourselves? After all aren't we supposed to be made in the image of Christ? Didn't Christ give his life to his FAther?
Thank you Lord for giving us such a Wonderful example to fashion our lives after. Thank you for your forgiveness when we don't try to live our life for you! Thank you for the ability to choose to love you!
