I Think I've Started the Nesting Phase...

When we first started this adoption process I was doing loads of research about the physical and physological changes adoptive parents -especially women-go through. I've tried to track my progresson through out the process and I do believe with the case worker calling on Monday that I have enter the nesting phase.
When a pregnant woman enters the 3rd trimester of her pregnancy she begins preparing for the baby to come home. She may do this by getting a nursery decorated, cleaning the house top to bottom and baby proofing her home. Well I've started all of that tonight!

I found my self lying in bed at 3am unable to sleep. I decided then and there that I was going to have to stop procrastinating and get this house in order! I guess I was in a state of denial or disbelief because it was taking so long and I had not done much to prepare for the home study.

So when she called it took the rest of the evening to settle in... I've not felt good today because I've got a cold and I wanted to sleep. So when Ernie went to bed at 4pm I did too.. I slept until about 7pm when I was rudely awakened by a telemarketer.
I got up and ran a couple of errands and came home to rest and read a good book.
I went to bed at 11:45 with my book and finished the book at 2:00am.
Since I was still awake at 3 i got up...
I got online at FLYlady and printed her steps for crisis cleaning. Then I put on my shoes washed and moisturized my face and went to work... It is now 5:30 am and My kitchen & bathroom are spotless and my livingroom liveable... now all that is left is the office and master bedroom along with the laundry which will have to be taken care of a little at a time.

If it were not for fly lady I would be in trouble! If you have not heard of her or need help getting organized 15 minutes at a time follow the links I have to her and check her out!

So I am going to work on the other areas later today and work on the laundry as well...

God Bless have a good day!
