Yesterday we had an early birthday party for Holly Elise, she will be 17 on Oct. 16th . We went to my Grandparents house and grilled hamburgers and my Aunt's best friend made Elise the nicest Cake.
She even said she would even make the cake for our placement party and our finalization party.
I can't wait for either! I am still really looking forward to becoming a mother. Ernie and I were talking earlier today about how he wants boys and I want girls. It was rather funny. He thinks boys are easier because they are not as emotional as girls! I told him that God made us more emotional for a reason. Because God needed someone to find compassion and love. With out the emotional sex there would be no men!
It was a fun debate, and we always wind up seeing the path God has put us on.
It has been raining most of the day and we have just enjoyed spending the day together and praying that the Lord will keep my peice of junk little van running until we can come up with the money to get a newer one, or a car. With winter coming on I probably need to get a front wheel drive car so that I don't have to worry about travel in Oklahoma's messed up weather!
