On mornings that I have to get up early to run an errand or go to an appointment I try to always set the coffee pot timer and have it going when I get up. I am normally up before 5am because my hubby leaves for work about 4:30 and having coffee with him is not something I get to do every day. ***psssst, I'm not Mrs. Cleaver! I don't get up with him! ****
However I make his lunch the night before. As for me I like to have a nice cup of coffee, my favorite being Starbucks, and have some quite time before my little one gets up. I can read my bible, or chat with friends online (if they are awake), and just enjoy being alone in a peaceful environment.
It is so nice being the mother of a 3 year-old to have some down time to recover from some of the insanity! :o)
So Christmas is in exactly ONE week! I am not prepared for it at all! We still have at least one gift to find for NikiRhe. She has asked for a robe and slipper for Christmas. I want to get that for her because she may never ask for clothes again! LOL I'm having trouble finding a store that carries robes for 3y/o. Sears or maybe Burlington would be a couple of options. I have a Sears close to home and wouldn't have to drive across the city to get to it like Burlington.
Well It's almost 7am so I guess I better start getting ready to conquer the day!
