Ernie and I have been praying since Thursday about our adoption. God has really shown us that we have an awesome support system. I was worried about telling everyone at church about the "call". We discussed it and felt that if God was allowing this to occur now that it was only natural to share it with our family and friends!
We have another couple in our church who is also adopting and they will be going to Korea to get their son in September. They rejoiced with us and we shared information on traveling and prepartion for our children.

I wanted to let anyone coming onto my blog know what the defination of Adoption is.
Adoption is a method of joining a family, just as is birth. It is also a method of family planning used by some who feel they are unprepared to parent, just as are birth control pills or abortion. Adoption has an impact on the lives of those it touches, but it is not a "condition." It should not become a label.
We are so glad God has adopted us into his family and we are proud to be growing our family through adoption. Please join with us in rejoicing the adoption of Holly Elise in October and of our son ( whom shall remain nameless until further notice) in the near future.
