This morning I was reminded of a Cousins birthday next week. It is also my fathers birthday next week.. I am always at a loss when it comes to my dad's birthday. You see my dad is literally a child at heart. His toy collection is very vast and I can't even begin to tell you how it ranges.
I hate getting him anything because I'm never sure what to get. So I just send him a card ( even though he lives in the same city) and possibly give him a call.
Okay now to change the subject. Ernie and I weren't at church the past two weeks because we were out of town... No one bothered to call or email us to see if we were okay! I was in shock... We have a large Sunday School Class and I was sure someone would have called or emailed since we are very active in our church. Then yesterday my Media Ministry Team Leader emailed me and told me they had missed me at church and hoped everything was okay, and that he hoped to see me on Sunday!
Bless his heart! I was still somewhat disappointed that the only person to try to contact me was the man who leads the ministry team I work on!
I guess I should address this issue with my class... I know that we have lost several people and I think I know the reason now! No one has bothered to contact them at all!!!!!
I don't know why I let things like this bother me but it does... I mean not even the youth minister contacted my daughter to find out if she was okay or anything and she had been on a mission trip the previous week with them .
OOOOOOOHhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know... I guess I am just annoyed by it...
So I have still been doing research on my family tree and have come to a stopping point. I have to talk to some relatives and get a bit more information. I am finding new things everyday but it is a slow process. Well I guess I better go get something done around here. I have a long day ..
